On the 5th day of Christmas...

...my true love gave to me, a Christmas living room!

I've already shared with you guys our main "family" Christmas tree...

...as well as our Christmas mantle...

However, the spirit of the season has taken over other areas of our living room as well!

Some of my favorite Christmas artwork is on this shelf in our living room.

Our secretary is getting into the spirit too, with a sparkly wreath...

potpourri filled cloches (and a cupcake, just because I like cupcakes regardless of the season)

 and a relaxin' Santa...

Here's another Santa. I have them everywhere! #santainfestation

Moving along to our couch, we have a candy cane look going on here. (Side note: That wasn't really intentional, but it just happened when I mixed some holiday red in with my existing white couch #unplannedbutstillpretty)

Our banisters are also looking pretty festive right now!

When we were looking to buy our home and first toured this house my initial thought upon entering the front door was "This house would be awesome at Christmas time with all these banisters!" The two story ceilings and open loft upstairs give me the perfect opportunity to go all out with my Christmas decor. Too bad I'm a terrible photographer and am incapable of translating that into photographs for you guys. #epicbloggerfail. Oh, I've also added more ornaments to this garland since these pictures were taken and its prettier now. I'd take new pictures but ain't nobody got time for dat.

On the little bench behind our couch, you'll spot a couple more Santas hanging out.
Side note: This is a dangerous location for these because it's low to the ground. So far my dog hasn't attempted to eat them. Keep your fingers crossed things stay that way. #santaisnotadogtoy

I'm really loving the festive and warm feeling in our holiday living room, and I'm grateful you've taken a moment to stop by. Come back soon, because I've still got seven more days left in my "12 Days of Christmas" series!

Happy Holidays!
Jesse
